Hunt the majestic fallow deer in the forests and open lands of the Czech Republic – one of Europe’s top game regions. The hunt

The hunt takes place in Moravia, where fallow deer herds thrive in free-range areas of forest and farmland. Hunting is usually done by stalking along the trails or waiting on high seat. The most exciting time is during the rut in October, when bucks fight and call loudly. All hunts are guided by local professionals, ensuring safety, legality, and a respectful experience.

Lodging & meals

We provide accommodation in a local hunting lodge or countryside guesthouse, close to the hunting area. Hearty breakfasts and traditional Czech meals are part of the experience. Transfers from accommodation to hunting sites are minimal, allowing you to focus on what matters most – being in nature and enjoying the hunt.

It was my first time hunting a bear and what better place to do it than in the Slovenian mountains. The evening high seat, which felt more like a small lodge, was silent and full of tension. But when the bear finally appeared, everything slowed down. I focused, took a deep breath, and made a clean shot.
It was a powerful moment and then relief, as the bear went down within 30 meters. Huge thanks to the GT Hunting team for another perfect trip, excellent service, and an unforgettable experience.
